I invented this recipe for green beans after spending a while playing around with Indian cooking. It has become one of my most-requested recipes. If you want to kick up the heat a bit, add a tiny touch of cayenne pepper.

Steam the green beans until they are just al-dente. Transfer to a serving dish.

Melt the butter in a large skillet. Once melted, add the spices and mix together until no clumps remain.
